Vermont Celebrates 250th Town Anniversaries

 At town festivals, there's something to enterain just about everyone

Sixty-one Vermont towns celebrated their 250-year old histories last year. Another nine towns will celebrate this year.

Those 61 towns celebrated with everything from parades and fireworks, to art exhibits, performances and even a town-to-town marathon. It's still early for sharing the plans for this year, but events will surely share pride in the past and excitement about today and tomorrow.
